Coming soon! – Honoring Our Heroes –
Honoring Our Heroes is a writing contest sponsored by the Eastern Cobb County Council of PTA's. The program was designed to encourage students to discover "real life" heroes that have made a real and positive impact on their life. Information will be coming home soon through your students language arts classes with the instructions needed to enter the contest.

Blake Cooper Productions, Inc.is proud to present the musical Annie, Jr.! The Dickerson Middle School Cast tells the story of Annie, a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
Shows are January 27 & 28 at 7:00pm, January 29th at 3:00pm, Dickerson Middle School Theater.

PTA Nominating Committee

NOMINATING COMMITTEE
During the PTSA General meeting this morning, the following people were elected to serve on the Nominating Committee. This committee will be looking for candidates to fill the the executive committee positions for the 2012-2013 school year.
The Nominating Committee will then meet, interview PTA Officer Candidates and propose the slate for the 2012-2013 PTA Executive Committee at the General PTSA Meeting on March 20, 2012. If you are interested in serving next year as a PTA Officer or if you would like to recommend someone to the nominating committee, please feel free to contact any of the nominating committee members listed above.
